Turn lives around

“I arrived at Vista Center on the brink of closing my private practice as a reading tutor, and was amazed to be given the tools to make print more accessible to me. I am so grateful to the Vista Center staff, who were so encouraging and helpful.”

Gifts of Stock to Vista Center

Gifts of securities may be transferred to Vista Center through our brokerage account at Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. Such gifts may have significant tax advantages over gifts of cash. For example, you may be able to take a tax deduction, allowable by law, for the market value of the securities rather than the cost basis for which they were purchased. Please complete this form and send it to your personal stockbroker asking them to transfer these shares of stock. (If you are holding your own certificates, the process is slightly different.)
