June 3 - Game Day!  12 to 2 p.m. Join your Vista Center community for a fun afternoon playing board and card games. Led by Bevie Heninger and Patrice Maginnis.   

June 4 -  Spanish Support Group led by Ana Bedingfeld, 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.

June 5 - Tech Lab appointments available.  At these one-hour sessions, you can work on a variety of devices with our tech volunteers and specialists on a one to one basis.  Just let us know when you make your appointment what you are interested in exploring and we will do our best to help you. $20 for a one-hour individualized training session.  Contact Stacie Grijalva or call the office 831-458-9766.
 
June 10 - "Get an Earful" Book Club.  10:00 to 11:30 a.m.  We will be discussing Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate and Becoming by Michelle Obama.  Want to join us in July?  We will be reading Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows by Balli Kaur Jaswal.  All readers are welcome!

June 10 - Maintaining Independence Workshop: Fall Prevention & Home Safety. 12:30 to 2 p.m. Led by David Emanuel, Orientation & Mobility Instructor.  FREE.  Call Ana Bedingfed at 831-458-9766 for more information or to register.

June 11 - Peer Support Group led by Bevie Heninger, 12 to 1:30 p.m. 

June 11 - Meet, Eat & Greet Happy Hour. 2 p.m.  Join your Vista Center friends for happy hour at Discretion Brewery.  2703 41st Avenue, Suite A, Capitola.  It's easily accessible by public transportation, call Vista Center at 831-458-9766 if you need directions. RSVP to Stacie Grijalva so we know how many seats to reserve.

June 14 - Group tour of Seymour Marine Discovery Center. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. $9 entrance fee, $7 for seniors.  Contact David Emanuel for more information or to register. Transportation to be arranged.

June 18  - English Support Group led by Ana Bedingfeld, 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.

June 22 - Tech Users Group featuring Netflix.  Join us at the tech users group to learn about Netflix's new accessibility features, including accessing audio described movies and TV shows, and navigating Netflix's website and mobile applications. Presented by Stefan Heymanns, Netflix Senior UI Engineer. 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Louden Nelson Center, 301 Center Street, Santa Cruz. June 26 - Maximizing Your Alexa App Tech Workshop. 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Do you have an Amazon Alexa? Join us for this informative workshop to learn all the different capabilities within the app and get the most out of your device.  If you don't have an Alexa device yet, here's your chance! We will be raffling off an Amazon Dot to a lucky workshop participant. Fee: $20. Contact Stacie Grijalva or call the office 831-458-9766 to register or for more information.
